This
handwoven
blanket
made
of
linen
and
wool
is
butter
color
with
two
panels
and a
seam
down
the
middle
of the
blanket
.
Although
the
maker
of this
blanket
is
unknown
,
it
was
probably
made
in the
mid
to
late
1800s
and
is
typical
of the
linsey-woolsey
blankets
commonly
made
and
used
throughout
Appalachian
households
during
that
time
period
.
